Team members have managed court operations in the U.S.
federal and state court systems and thus have covered all
aspects of case management, support of judges and
communications with the bar and public. Internationally,
team members have worked in more than a dozen countries on
court administration projects focused on improving the
professional services in court administration in these
countries.
Humphreys & Associates has both the technical experience and the ability to integrate information technology with the unique needs driven by court administration. In Tajikistan, for example, Humphreys & Associates helped to manage the automation of the Tajik judiciary. This project involved assessing the courts’ needs, designing training programs, overseeing the renovation of facilities and selecting appropriate computer equipment for purchase. In Romania, the team worked with judges to identify where investment in automation would be cost-effective and prudent. MOREè
Members of our firm played a major role in the development of staffing allocation formulas for the federal judiciary in the United States. We helped to design a set of quantitative performance indicators for the courts, and to design a data collection instrument to gather the underlying data. MOREè
